No. In mid-August 2026 KakoBuy's site went down for a short stretch, and because CNFans had just closed and AllChinaBuy had gone down, social media treated the outage as a death notice. rep.tools, which pulls KakoBuy QC photos and tracking data through live integrations every day, confirmed the service was operating again in its August 31 check.

KakoBuy has been running since 2023 — its iOS app launched that September — so it has already been through one wave of agent closures, after Pandabuy was raided in April 2024.

How KakoBuy's 100-day free storage works

Once an item reaches KakoBuy's warehouse, the storage clock starts. You get 100 days free; KakoBuy sends a reminder at day 90, and after day 100 storage costs ¥20 for each further 100 days. rep.tools' September 2026 ranking called it the longest free storage among the agents it compared, and it was one of the reasons KakoBuy came first overall.

Long storage matters more now than it did two years ago. With the US $800 duty-free allowance gone and the EU charging €3 per item category on small parcels since July 2026, one well-packed parcel usually costs less than three small ones. • The photos on this page are the seller's listing photos. They show the design, colourways and details on offer — tap any photo to see the full set on repbuysheet.com.
• KakoBuy's QC photos are taken after the item physically arrives at its warehouse: usually 3–5 photos, free on every item, typically within 24 hours of arrival. This is the item you will actually receive.

KakoBuy's QC photos are also available through an open API, which is why third-party QC finder tools can show other buyers' KakoBuy photos for the same listing. Before you order, it's worth searching the listing in one of those tools; after you order, compare your own QC set against the seller photos and ask for an exchange if the details don't match.

Verdict: Use seller photos to choose and KakoBuy's QC photos to approve. Never approve shipping on seller photos alone.

KakoBuy fees and payment methods

KakoBuy is quick at the warehouse end: rep.tools measured a median of one day from "ready" to dispatch, with 85% of parcels leaving within four days. After that, delivery depends on the line and the destination.

The long tail in the Canada numbers — one parcel took 74 days — is a reminder that customs holds, not the agent, cause most extreme delays. Keep your tracking number and don't open a dispute until the line's normal window has clearly passed.

Across both, the pattern is consistent. Positive reviews mention a simple ordering flow, useful QC photos and fast support. Negative reviews are almost all about shipping: high international postage — one reviewer paid €160 to ship 5 kg — and parcels stuck without tracking updates.
